Carlos is an elite mountaineer and a highly experienced management consultant, meeting facilitator and executive coach.

In his climbing career, Carlos has amassed an international resume of legendary reputation. His astonishing career has led to a 35-year span of ascents of maximum difficulty and consistent achievement while emphasizing a purity of ethics that is recognized worldwide. Among his renowned climbs in the mountain ranges of Asia are ascents of Everest (Kangshung Face), Changabang (North Face), Ama Dablam (Northeast Face), Baruntse (East Ridge), Sepu Kangri (West Buttress), Kampur (Northwest Face) and Milarepa (East Face), all by new routes. These climbs have never been repeated. In addition, he has successfully scaled six of the world’s nine highest peaks, including the world’s first three by difficult routes: Everest (Kangshung Face), K2 (North Ridge) and Kangchenjunga (North Face). On two, Nanga Parbat and Kangchenjunga, he made the first American ascent of the mountain).

His vast experience leading international climbing teams has given him unique perspectives into the delicate challenges of multicultural communication, leadership development and team dynamics.
